About Activista Ghana
A platform for ActionAid Ghana's youth network of activists to build the capacity of young people in Ghana.
With the objective of ensuring the youth actively participate in non-partisan political discourses and decision making processes that affect their lives locally and internationally. This will then be linked to ActionAid's vision of a just, equitable and sustainable world in which every person enjoys the right to a life of dignity, freedom from poverty and all forms of oppression.
About publication
This 10-page document discusses youth activism and advocacy as a catalyst for change and development; offering a background to the Activista Social Movement in Ghana, its mission, vision and values as well as strategy for engaging with youth, community members and policy makers.
