ActionAid Ghana (AAG) is a non-governmental organization registered in Ghana as a National NGO and has been working in the country since 1990. AAG is a member of the ActionAid International Federation, dedicated to social justice, poverty reduction, and human rights. AAG’s strategic interventions focus on gender equality, youth empowerment, climate resilience, and addressing inequalities in marginalized communities. As part of the implementation of the EU-funded “Resilience Against Climate Change” Project, AAG is implementing the “Strengthening Community Resilience Through Community Action Plans (CAPs)” in the Upper West and Savannah regions of Ghana. This project seeks to improve access to water resources and irrigation infrastructure, as well as enhance afforestation and soil health in targeted communities. To support the successful delivery of this project, AAG is inviting licensed drilling firms to bid for the siting, drilling and construction of 60 boreholes in 9 districts across some selected communities within the target region.
